What does "ifor_pmd, failed to initialize policy manager" mean?

The license manager is failing for some reason. There are a number of reasons why that could be, including having an incorrect date in your computer's BIOS or simply not having a /pmd directory. See http://aplawrence.com/cgi-bin/ta.pl?104851 for more detailed reasons and fixes.
